You wanted him…. You Got Him…..

Vinnie Paul is coming on Talking Metal!!!

we have been approached by a few different people to do a Talking Metal tv/video show… stayed tuned for details.

As some of you know, I work in TV. Last night I interviewed stars from a bunch of Sci Fi Channel shows. 2007 and 2008 will be big years for this great station.

Press release:

New York, NY – March 21, 2007 – SCI FI Channel has upped its episode order for season 4 of its Peabody Award-winning original series Battlestar Galactica from 13 to 22 episodes. This will include a special two-hour extended event that will air during fourth quarter 2007 and be released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment thereafter.

Currently approaching its stunning season 3 finale on Sunday, March 25, 2007, production on the new season of Galactica will begin in May with an eye to an early 2008 premiere.

Redefining the space opera with its gritty realism, Battlestar Galactica’s intensity, issues-driven topicality, and command performances have garnered it unprecedented critical acclaim. In addition to winning a prestigious Peabody Award, the series has been honored as one of the 10 Outstanding Television Programs of the Year by the American Film Institute (AFI) for two years running. Battlestar is also responsible for introducing the expletive “frak” into the pop culture lexicon.

The series is from NBC Universal Television Studio and is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore and David Eick.

the whole 2007 Stooges thing seems staged.

what is the point?

It would have been more powerful to not release

Iggy can do a hard rock punk album without those
guys…  it is a scam to think that a bunch of senior
citizens 40 years later are doing this for real.

Reminds me of the whole thing with the Dolls last
year… and that album was good but it wasn’t The NY

The Van Halen RnR Hall Of Fame thing was all a little strange but I must give a salute to Michael Anthony.  I thought it was really cool of him to show up and speak.  He is a postive dude despite everything that has been going on with him and Van Halen.  A true gentleman!

I found it funny that Velvet Revolver did the eaistist VH song ever…  haha, I can’t blame them, I would have done the same thing.  I always thought Eddie played Ain’t Talking bout Love in the open postion… not sure????  It looked like Slash did it at the 5th fret.

++++++++++++++++++++++++ season 3 is almost over.  The final 2 episodes are Pt1 and 2.

Who are the final 5?

Jaywalk I read your words….  read mine carefully,  I wish I could say more but I can’t.  There is too much confusion and I can’t get xx xxxxX.   AND Think of King’s X’s biggest song.  What does the chorus say?

Let the trail begin.

10 long months await.

Eddie Trunk is not a cylon

March 6, 2007 at 5:47 pm (Rock)

Eddie did a great interview with Lars Ulrich last Friday. It is worth buying an MP3 of it from Eddie’s site. I am very interested in hearing the new album by Metallica. It will be out in late 2007 or early 2008. The song writing is all done and they start recording next week.

We are having a blast on the new Talking Metal message boards. Topics include: Metallica, GnR, Dream Theater and Children Of Bodom.

Check out the boards HERE

Bumblefoot just finished remastering the album “Face The Day” by 24-7 Spyz. Check out one of the remastered cuts on the next episode of Talking Metal.

I watched The Song Remains The Same last night on VH1 Classics. The movie is still so amazing regardless of what Robert Plant says about it.

Last Sunday’s episode of Battlestar Galactica was a heavy one. Is Starbuck a cylon or not? More answers (and questions) are coming in the next 3 episodes. I am producing a promo for BSG that will air right after the final episode of the season.

Who are the final 5??? Stay tuned to the Sci Fi Channel. Check this out.

I am editing this one so you know it is going to sound like ass.  Ostronomy does a great job at editing most of our shows but episode 132 is all me baby.  Here is a picture from the recording of episode 132.
